In
2000 Tom Tunstall, in only his 2nd season in the 250cc class, emerged
as one of Britain's biggest future talents in the 250 GP class.
Scored points in European Championship races.
Consistently finished in the top 5 with 2 rostrum finishes.
After being as high as 3rd in the British Championship, Team Tunstall
finally finished 7th.
Competed with the best riders in the world at the British Grand Prix,
as a wild card rider.

2001
|
In
2001 Tom continued to make excellent progress as the best young rider
in the British 250cc Championship on a standard TSR Honda. In the ultra-competitive
European Championship he achieved several exceptional results. Competed
against and beat many factory kitted machines.
When competing in European Championship held a top 10 position and was
only 3 seconds off the podium in Italy.
After running as high as 4th finished 6th in the British Championship,
having gained rostrum finishes, and was consistently the top non A-kit
finisher.
